I know this is probably really simple and I am just missing it.  I have installed the program.  What do I do?  Do I just sit and wait and it performs the actions automatically.  I did click on a program to watch and it asked if I wanted to add the program to the process.  I clicked yes.  Do I need to watch the program all the way though?  Is there a way for this process to pick up the shows automatically without having to watch them?  Also where do I find the file once it is done?  I know these questions are probably dumb but I cannot seem to figure it out.

OK i figured some out on my own.  I did get the program started.  I need to double click to select paths, don't know why I didn't see that befor.  Was able to convert a couple of files but still don't know how to do it automatically.  What I want to do is cut commercials, convert to mpeg and move to another folder to burn to a dvd later.  I set up a profile to try and do that but it hangs at 98.89% everytime and will not complete.  I will post te logfile if anyone can please help me.  Thanks.

I believe there are a couple of threads about problems with converting to MPEG.  If the Action fails, you could always try using mencoder.
 

if the file hangs on XP it's generally file corruption; although I haven't seen this much post rollup 2.  assuming that your system is up to date (rollup 2, sp2, etc), you can try using a dvr-ms editor to trim a small segment (1 min or so) off the front or back of the file and rerun it.

I've also seen it where using a copy (ctrl-c ctrl-p) of the file will work.
