Okay so here is my situation...

I have several movies recorded off of HBO that I want to put onto DVD.  MCE won't let me burn them to DVD because of the copy protection.  So I downloaded DVD Shrink to make it so I can burn them to DVD.  DVD Shrink can't read the file format DVR-MS so I found DVRMSToolbox to convert it to MPEG.  Well I can't get the program to work.  It sounds exactly like what I need but when I go to use it, it goes through and analyzes for commercials and then it says "Action did not complete successfully".  Is there a forum on here with step by step instructions on how to use this program?  I am not the best with computers so I would prefer it to be simple.  Thanks for all the help!  One last question... when I select the 'Output File', what should I select?  I almost feel like I'm in way over my head for what I'm trying to do but hopefully someone can help me out!

Also is there way to not have the commercial analysis?  Their movies on HBO so they have no commercials, just curious! 

commericials not needed.. comskip works great..

this program might not work being your recording is protected but i could be wrong..

you could try using  Arksofts Crunchie then converting from mpg or avi to dvd..

but it may not work being the files is possibly encripted..
